Hello All-
Before requesting any kind of official acknowledgement. For those of who that are familiar or were around during the early 2000's might remember 'oVc' or 'The Order of the Virtue Cross'. This was a small guild that I led along with James and Varlan before the M'reals moved to Malas (when I departed).
oVc as an abbreviation is no more, instead being replaced by '0|--' which is the symbol of the Ankh. It is revived as The Order of the Virtue Cross and has taken rightful ownership of inherited land in Felluca known as Horseshoe Island. This effectively has been refurbished and reinstated as the Barony of Crislynn.
Anyway; 'The Order' is a very devout following of the virtues (for those of you were around back in the day - we were extremely dedicated to the preservation fo the Virtues and the rightful rulership of British in the throne).
The reason for the post is that I wanted to see if there was any desire or interest from the community of those that are currently guildless or have an interest in a very devout guild. The only correlation I can make with what the values of my guild was is to that of the Knights Templar.
Seems the guild roster is filled with alot of small and inactive guilds so I didn't want to add another to that list. _________________ To kill a non-believer tis not murder, tis the path to enlightenment... |

I'd say your best bet is to get IG and RP around, throw some small events, get some recruitment drive going and see if people jump in or not.
From experience, interested or not in word, it's usually seeing a dedicated 3-4 members I.G. doing things that make a guild grow and flourish over time. |

I say, go for it and try to avoid thoughts like small or inactive guilds.
Everybody has different expectations in their role play. If this is something that suits you, by all means you should do it!
I for one am intrigued. _________________ An artist is a creature driven by demons ~Faulkner

You have my full support if you need any help, Tay. All guilds start small. Infinite Mercenary Company started off with just me. Then Beo and Gerard joined. From there, roleplay stemmed into the creation of Blackmarsh. And look at us now.
No matter how small you think something you want to do is, do it. More often than not, you'll be surprised. _________________

This idea is legitimate. Interacting with or being part of such an order would be fun. |

Well put Isk.
My personal fascination with the Knights and the histories--and legends--catches my attention.
It would definitely be nice to see this happen, and interact in game.
