Alaundril found this missive waiting for him in the usual drawer at the Double Dagger Inn. It was written neatly and sealed with the standard crimson :S: symbol. Beside it, there was a directive from The Boss, ordering Alaundril to make sure this missive reached Gorhun Morchiant.

Morchiant:
Your time away has been long. I was delighted to hear of your return, and doubly delighted to learn of your recent deeds. I must say, you are a bold one. Far more bold and conniving than Alaundril. We shall see if this trend continues on it's present path. Alaundril has displeased me greatly in the past months. Were he anyone else, I would have ordered his death long ago. Given the present situation and the fact that the numbers of Drow are thin, we should make use of every Drow we can. The time for cleansing the ranks will come. For now, Alaundril is at your service, as is his servant "Mr. Narshan." Both are loyal to our cause and both will serve you well. I silently applaud your skill and tenacity in regards to the Matron of Shinduago Charnnagen.She's needed a slap in the face for some time now.
Extend the black tentacles of chaos my brother and you shall be rewarded. We shall meet soon, the Double Dagger is a fairly neutral area, despite the proximity to our extended family. I will meet with you in two days time to discuss more of what is to be done.
