Sara,

I apologize for taking so long to get to this, I have been very busy and unable to take the time to do so. I had a wonderful time chatting with you and would like to know if you would be interested in coming back for a small visit. Perhaps we could play pool and have some casual dinner and just enjoy some good conversation again. I have a great bottle of wine I have been saving... perhaps you can aid me in the emptying of it.

Hope all is well and look forward to hearing from you!
Your freind
Nadia

Sara stopped by her home to pick up a few things when she noticed a strange, little flag on her mailbox. Unsure of what to make of the strange flag, or why it was suddenly at attention, she pushed the flag back down and forgot all about the whole thing.

Several days later, while walking a friend home, Sara noticed the same strange flag on her friend's mailbox. The friend opened the mailbox, grabbed a few letters from inside it and pushed the flag into its resting position. Suddenly, it all made sense and Sara rushed home to open her mailbox. There was a letter inside!

Excitedly, she snatched the letter from inside and scrambled to open it. Sara had never received a letter before. In her haste, she accidentally tore the letter nearly all the way through. A short yelp of fear and Sara calmed herself, lest she rip the letter completely in half. Mumbling to herself as she read, she bounced happily at the contents of the note.

Thinking through the process, she had only heard about, she knew it was proper to write a response. Barging into Rizzen's chambers with a swift kick to the entryway, she heard several bottles shatter behind the swinging door. She quickly tore the desk apart looking for a pen and paper. Neat and orderly as Rizzen was, it didn't take long. Embarrassed and nervous as she turned and saw the various potions mixing together on the alchemist's table behind the door, Sara hustled back to her room.

Flopping onto her bed, she begin to write her response letter. The process was slow going.

Deer Dear Nadia,
It is such a pleasure to hear for you.
It is so nice to hear from you again.
HI! It's been a while. I'm glad you wrote! I was starting to think you might have not I was wondering where you were. Anyway, I'd love to come back for a visit. I had a lot of fun last time. I was hoping you'd want to As for that bottle of wine, I'm very good at drinking. I have fine tastes in wine. sounds great!
I don't have much going on right now, so I'm free whenever you'd like.
I'm pretty busy with a lot of things I have going on right now, but for you, I'd move stuff around.

Love,
Your friend,
Sara Delan

After rolling the letter and tying it with some thick, climbers rope, Sara shoved a few gold coins in the knot for postage. Standing outside, in the snow, scroll in hand, Sara was stumped as to the next step. If the letter went into the mailbox, how would anyone know it was in there? The little flag seemed to only mean there was a letter which was already delivered.

Several minutes later, Sara had come to a conclusion and marched back inside happily. Tied to the outside of the mailbox with more rope was the letter and a large plank of wood with the words "To Nadia" and an arrow pointing to the letter scraped into it.

Wiping her brow with her forearm, Nadia took a moment to look around. Her little cottage was a mess… “what irony that it looks like something blew up in here since I am trying to organize all of this crap” gritting her teeth frustrated she sighed and plopped her butt on the bed wishing her neck didn’t feel like it was all twisted up. Closing her eyes she tried to relax her muscles and fell into a small dreamlike state. A noise outside took her out of her silence and her eyes snapped open. Someone was outside her house, she could hear a sudden slam of her mailbox. “hmmm…guess I will go check it out”

Reaching her mailbox she saw the flag at attention and smiled. She very rarely received mail and was excited to find out from who. She smiled curiously seeing a letter attached to a piece of wood… “what the hell” . Untying it she opened it and looked immediately for the signature first… she always was the curious one… saw who it was from and sat on the steps to read it with a smile. “ I knew I liked her for a reason” she laughed and closed the letter gently tucking it in her apron. “I could very much use the wine and company … maybe she will be around tonight” Going to the kitchen table right away she penned another letter to Sara.

Sara,
I am delighted to hear from you! Please rescue me from this horrible mess I am surrounded by in my house…. I am trying to pack so as to move to Blackmarsh. I would love to have you by if you are free this eve… we can put that bottle of wine down and then some! If not this eve, let me know when you have some time.

Looking forward to your company
Your friend
Nadia

Rolling the letter up and tying it with a ribbon Nadia paused and tried to think of something as equally unique as Sara had when sending her letter. Smirking she took the ribbon off and rolled it up tight squeezing it into a bottle… once in the bottle it unraveled enough that you would have to break it to read it. “That should do it” Nadia put the bottle in the mailbox and turned the flag back to attention.
