Orgollree'rean sat quietly on the edge of his bed, staring at his much older wrinkled hands, reminiscing of adventure he had barely survived. The priestess was determined to find a return to Ched Nasad and his explanations of its futility fell def to her ears. She had cursed him before their last effort, "To fail this time, would be your final failure E'spdon", she had told him just before entering the astral planes.

He stirred suddenly, thinking he had heard a shuffle from the shadows. Instinctively he began a quick reveal spell to detect anything hidden in the shadows. "She is not here," he thought to himself. He didn't know what happened to her, but he was fairly certain she did not return Sosaria. They had traveled the planes in their physical form this time, which the archmage had strongly discouraged, but was insisted on by the priestess. Along the way they became separated, a difficult thing to avoid in the planes, and the archmage searched for her for days. Until, he started to realize the curse placed on him by the priestess had taken affect. He was aging at an incredible rate, years of aging was occurring in hours. He knew he had to flee the planes.

He awoke near their home outside Umbra. Tired and confused he decided he must report to the Matron.

The days passed rather uneventful over the past tendays. The archmage's house was becoming littered with scraps of scrolls, various reagents and full and empty potion bottles scattered about as he got back into his old routine. He had been writing spell books, scrolls, refilling potion kegs and preparing anything he thought the Matron may desire. He noticed that he had instinctively wrote extra recall scrolls for the priestess. Shrugging it off he thought that someone would need them.

Exhausted from his duties he decided to retire to his chambers. As he stepped off the teleporter he immediately noticed something laying on the foot of his bed. He had been here all day and no one had had been here but himself. He cautiously approached while preparing to summon a defence. It was a box, a heart shaped box, with one the priestess' favorite whip on top of it. He immediately stopped himself of his summons spell and began another, reveal. "She is here", he thought, as he scanned the house for anyone hiding in the shadows. "No body", he smirked and said aloud. He went back up to his room to further examine this "gift". The whip was definitely hers, he recognized some of the scratches on the handle. He cast a spell on the box to see if was trapped, it wasn't so he slowly opened it. "Candy", he exclaimed surprised, sniffing them to ensure they hadn't been poisoned, he ate one.
