The news still echoing in his ear, and the reality of the situation was setting in. As his son Dominick continued to explain to him what was going on.

Mother is getting married to a midget, father..

Lestats reaction to these things generally doesn’t utter a response but this time he seemed a little bit more perplexed about the situation.

So your mother has finally decided to settle down?

Yes, she said it was time for her to find somebody, somebody who was there in constant.

Lestat paused to that knowing that they have children together and that she never seemed the settle down type.

Dom continued to explain the situation as Lestat seemed to get more annoyed by the second finally Dom had said the one thing that set him over the top.

She also told me that she was going to bear his child and or children.

Lestat finally rose out of his chair to this his eyes slowly turning red and walked away from Dominick up to his sleep chamber.

Dad are you going to let this happen?

Lestat paused walking up the stairs, then continued walking.

He made it to his ice museum in his tower before Doms words had finally erupted something in his head.

Then in a odd moment of rage Lestat reached for his hammer pick and started to crush item after item in the museum thoughts rushed through his mind thoughts of love thoughts of sacrifice everything boiled to the surface and when it was all said and done he had destroyed everything Cold related in his home

She had tried to explain to her son best she could. She had asked him to find his father so she could talk to him face to face. Yet time had passed again.

Lestat had not come again...

It was all she ever asked over and over... and over and over the vampire reclused...

She shuddered as she felt a surge in raw anger that was not hers, a rise in temperature this day, and sadness deep and painful filled her.

What had they expected her to just wait her whole life away?

What did they want from her to just go on being alone? To be there when one of them dropped by?

She couldnt even tell him about Kelei.. he wouldnt even know.. .her heart ached but she put on no expression and rose putting on her armour.

Sometime had passed for Lestat since his aburpt outburst in his home.. His thought process still perplexed on the whole situation, emotions ran deep withen him things he thought had surpassed have yet to fade from his cold heart.. Perhaps it was the thoughts of missed oppurtunity perhaps it was his own fault. Tons of thoughts bubbled to the surface but only anger and bitterness seemed to come to the demon prince. After some deep thought he finally arose from his chambers, throwing on his red armor and mounting his red steed he ventured into the city to see if the queen of his pain was withen the walls as he ventured through the city he noticed a few citzens but no sign of the Ice Queen. He wanderd by his daughters homested a child he and merci both shared however she did not seem home... Lestat let out a sigh and decided it best to return to his tower on the outskirts of stonegate, for even he thought he was not ready for social interaction.. Before he ventured down the path home he made one final sweep towards the guild hall with that he wrote a small message for Merci.
" Merci, I will meet with you very soon, you have been in my thoughts greatly and there are things we need to discuss about our future" Signed Lestat Alexander Da'mon

She picked up the letter silently looking it over.

So Lestat, my champion rises, at last we shall speak.

She nodded. Family is a tie you do not sever. She smiled..

Lestat sat in deep thought.. Trying to debate when the appropriate time to approach Merci would be.. Definitely a time where she was alone would be best suitable he didn’t really want to see her human mate as of yet.. Though Lestat had great respect for this Ninja, his emotions still remained somewhat flustered. He didn’t want to approach the situation without any tact and he didn’t want his feelings to get the better of him, for there is more involved in the situation beyond his own feelings.

Dominick had remained in the tower with his father trying to calm his resolve and find the correct solution to the issues swirling in his father’s mind. Dominick perplexed on the situation retired to his quarters and sat in his ice throne.. As he started to drift off to sleep he got a vision that brought fear to his heart. In his vision the voice that spoke to him said these words.

"Should, the Demon Prince's temper refuse to calm, thy future shall be engulfed in flames. As the flames of fire, melts the cold of ice"

Dominick’s pulse raced. In his vision he saw a cloaked figure setting a city a blaze, bodies of people scattered everywhere.. The face of the antagonist unrecognizable and the city unknown because of the flames and the destruction, but Dominick could feel the fire and the heat waving all around him as if he was witnessing it first hand, and with that Dominick’s will gave out and he fell unconscious..

As the fire burned, the emotions where released, once I saw her face my eternal heart almost ceased...

*Lestat, walked home to his tower after a long dialogue with Merci, and for the first time in many months a smile could be seen, as he walked through his door his son paused at looking at his books. Only to notice his father with that eternally charismatic look*

*With a sigh of relief as he once felt emotionally dead he took a few deep breaths of fresh air as he got ready for bed*

*As he lay on his ice bed, drifting to sleep he smiled to himself and agreed he had took a significant leap*

Some things are eternal. Lestat had surprised her.

You are a greatly compassionate woman others dont see it but I do.

It was as if he saw thru the stoney face and icy expression. She would admit it got to her.

He supported her, understood it all and asked nothing of her. It was, surprising. She had felt his anger, she had known that Lestat boiled with fury. That he had remained gone for a reason.

Now he had returned, and instead of anger and words he had pronounced clearly his thoughts and feelings in a manner that was beyond what she had expected. He admitted even that some of this was his fault for having been gone at times for long periods.

She deserved love he said... It was in those silent moments those awkward minutes that Merci realized just how much someone could sacrifice for another. She realized that Lestat was truly her Champion Eternal and he would not falter. He would stand by her side, and Myrddins side no matter what.

Another tear slipped her cheek. Time was a cruel mistress, Fate was unkind at times, but destiny was a path they all must walk.

She admired Lestat greatly this day, for what he had sacrificed for her and them all.

Lestat sat in his tower having slept rather well. Sometimes turning the page truly opens a different chapter. Having been slacking in his battle craft Lestat went down to his dungeon to start practicing his fighting skills with each strike the weight of everything that had bothered him over the past few months slowly dispersed from his body, and today he felt like a new man.
