You guys made it way worse. Evil or Very Mad

But then I got better! Very Happy

You can apologize by giving me some stuff.

Orelen Reaucher spoke to the crowd.

"Good evening everyone, and Welcome to Blackmarsh. You join us this evening for a momentous event in Blackmarsh history, and the history of the entire Feluccan facet. We gather here, by the will of every man and woman Blackmarsh has touched, to welcome a man they have chosen to lead. That man, Denzin Bracken, now stands before you as a revolutionary and a visionary. He is a beacon of integrity, and a paragon of the stability of Felucca in the future. I present to you, Denzin Bracken, the first Emperor of Blackmarsh. Emperor Bracken, please kneel to accept this token from your people.

May your hand be firm, your heart be true, and your will stay strong."

The new emperor then gave a motivational speech to the crowd to assure them that all of Felucca was now in good hands.

He welcomed Itannor as the first vassal to Blackmarsh, before giving word that it was time to commence with the sporting event of the evening. Cal Hurst tried to tempt more people into signing up just before the first match began by telling them about the winning pot, but if there were any last minute sign-ups, I was unaware of them.

The first match started out with a bang.. quite literally. Death Knight Plaguerot vs the gypsy Adrian Bishop. The crowd roared as the match began.

The match was over, the death knight the victor. Would such be the fate of the evening? Only time would tell, for the next match was about to start. King Talon Skyfire vs Death Knight Morlith! The crowd was in an uproar over this age old face-off of Paladin Vs Necromancer.

The match was filled to the brim with enmity and malice. One could tell there was no love between the competitors.

The death knight took the match, and King Skyfire vented his frustration dramatically.

The next match - Gerard Vartan of Blackmarsh vs Deathknight Plaguerot.

Vartan ended the death knight winning streak and proceeded to the final round to face Morlith. The match was close, many times it could have gone either way.

But in the end, the death knight prevailed.

D'thal Morlith spoke then. "I have a humble request. I wish a final duel with Skyfire. Should he best me, half the gold is his."

King Skyfire did not seem likely to fight at first, declaring, "You keep your damn gold."

Finally, at the urging of his people, he consented to the fight.

Once more the two faced off, the paladin and the necromancer.

And again, the death knight walked away, victorious.

The evening had been an eventful one, but the people began to disperse. One man would be going home that evening with a much heavier pocket than when he arrived.

Many thanks to Blackmarsh for the fun evening!

I like where this is going... minus the Gerard part.

On that note, I guess I'm not as vocal about it as I should be... or something?? But, I don't go for the manly types.

And by that, I mean men at all. ... ...Get it?

The funniest thing I saw all night wasn't related to the jousting at all. This just cracked me all kinds of up:

Peter: AAAH! It feels like someone kicked me in the teeth!
Davaran Skyfire: Watch pete, if he starts to sway lend him an arm.

I still can't read it without laughing.

It was a good time, the people from my guild that went enjoyed it greatly. My character was unable to enjoy it due to her personal issues, but I myself thought it was well planned.

It heartens me to see activity and events picking up. The community prospers in this.
