You can. I don't auto log into the chat channel anymore, I turned it off in my settings for SA. They released a patch a while ago that addressed that issue. When I do have chat open, I leave myself in the RP channel.

Yeah, I'm in the Atlantic RP all the time and it's never been spam or annoying gibberish. 95% of the time it's quiet, unless we're having a conversation or something. Razz
