Nope. I do not know 10 chars that are not mine well enough to assign them to actors.
Closest I got was choosing an entire cast for Blackmarsh.
And yes I am also Edda and Yuna.

Who do you hang out with in game? Start small. Pick a couple of them, and start from that. Very Happy

This is meant to be fun, not work Very Happy

.

I have a hard time finding people to rp with, honestly. Thats why I put a character in Blackmarsh, hoping I have someone to hang out with soon. Takumi would be the only char I know well enough, but I cant figure out an actor like him.

Let me just say that (off topic of course) I loved Gerard Butler as the Phantom, and I do NOT like Gerard Butler. Erik had no formal training, nor did Monsieur Butler. But natural talent aside, what Butler did bring to the movie was a raw edge of emotion that seemed seriously lacking in the rest of the movie. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy watching it just because it's Phantom - whenever you want to pop in the DVD. But a masterpiece it wasn't. The Phantom (they never call him by his name once in the movie do they?) and Christine (only in the graveyard scene) are the only characters who bring emotion to the table in the movie.

You want real acting, real singing, and real talent, throw in RENT.

I think another good one for Darrien if Jeremy Irons rejects my offer when I do ARPC the Movie, is Bill Nighy. He was Viktor in Underworld.

Thinking more about that film itself actually gave way to another good one..

Garrett - Tony Curran

Calm to berserk killer in .6 seconds. Don't piss him off. You might remember him as Marcus, ever devoted to his brother and resolved to kill any that try to prevent him from helping him, the way Garrett is with Bishimi.

Oh yeah! Bill Nighy is awesome! He was in the Simon Pegg and Nick Frost movies too.

When the new ingame chat thing got up and running I was hoping it would be used to start more random RP gatherings.

Like, "Hey, BTDubs, a few of us are RPing down in the Moonglow Tavern. Feel free to join us!" sort of thing.

So... maybe we start trying that??

Cal could be any of the Will Ferrel roles.
My favorite to see, would be elf.

Alright. I've put this off long enough.
Lets do this.

Cal Hurst - John Stamos

Darrien Church - Bill Nighy was actually a perfect suggestion by Ceinwyn.

Merci -Michelle Rodriguez (gonna have to agree with Kal)

Note: This is tough because so many people have already posted stuff. So, if I'm "copying" others. TOO BAD.

Myrrdin - Michael Sheen

Sid - Rob Corrdry

Tatiana (Cant believe no one has made one for her!) - I picture her char looking like Courtney Cox.

Ragnar - Hugh Laurie

Gerard - Gerard Butler (Coincidence?)

Talon Skyfire - Kurt Russel

Thraxas - Luke Wilson

Mind you, I'm not great with actors. All I could do was put pictures to the faces of the RPers. I have ideas for others..but godforbid I'd know the name of the actor.

-I think Keira Knightley would look good as Cein, but I haven't interacted much with Cein IG , so I'm probably way off.
-Robin Williams for Poet. I know he says Poet is supposed to be tall but I always picture him short and stout. I cant control it.
-A good Merci would be Kate Winslet. With blue hair of course.

I don't have ten but am still thinking of various ones. I have so far:

Isk - either Julian McMahon (Fantastic Four) or Robert Quarry (Count Yorga). Both guys arrogant and sharp.

Ceinwyn - Halley Berry (like when Storm gets unhappy)

Molly - Cate Blanchett (Galadriel)

Merci - Jennifer Garner (Elektra)

Kali'ksix - Uma Thurman (Poison Ivy)

Really Isk? Ian McNeice? Have we even met?

It was agreed upon long, long, long ago that if GreyPawn were played in an Atlantic RP movie, he would be played by Malcolm McDowell.

Shave the beard and moustache, give him a wispy soul patch, throw on a blue vest and he's good to go. For attitude, ignore his Clockwork Orange or Heroes. Smug, self-serving, mildly jaded ambivalent demigod in Fantasy Island is the milieu. The bumbling subordinates also punctuate things a bit.
