Can you make me one, where it is snowing around Sutek in my avatar? And he's just chillin there, smoking him some pipe, and drinking cognac, reminded of the good ole days of mad scientestry where everyone left you alone unless they wanted some plans for a hot air balloon? Good times.

I am offended that my religion is not being recognized this holiday season. The changing season, the devouring decay of Ghorlon giving way to the bitter cold and dark nights of Gholad. It's very important. Da Nazulda xa Gholad should be recognized and practiced by all Sosarians, it is a grand feast to welcome winter! (Hopefully this will be planned out and take place before December is done, but if the schedule is too hectic January works too).

Where's the Festivus one? I just went out to the Festivus Pole lot and picked mine out. Just gotta unstrap it from the top of the car and get it inside.

First, we'll start with the airing of grievances. Tomorrow, FEATS OF STRENGTH!

I shall just smite you both now in my imagination with gobs of earwax.

No no. After reading both lamentations, I was inspired to create one that would make EVERYBODY (except some people) happy. Behold.

I think using holiday is biased...

Main Entry: 1holiday
Pronunciation: \ˈh-lə-ˌdā, British usually ˈh-lə-dē\
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English, from Old English hāligdg, from hālig holy + dg day
Date: before 12th century

1 : holy day
2 : a day on which one is exempt from work[/b]; specifically : a day marked by a general suspension of work in commemoration of an event
3 chiefly British : vacation often used in the phrase on holiday often used in plural
4 : a period of exemption or relief

With three kids... Its never without "work" for me... wrapping, dinner, etc..

There needs to be another term for it ...

*tries to hide a smile as if she were just teasing you*

Besides ... what about the Festival of Alvis...?

Behold the holy words... "Believer, you have forgotten the true meaning of Alvis Day. Neither is it ham, nor pomp. Nay, the true meaning of Alvis day is drinking. Drinking and revenge. Now drink with me deeply of the bourbon, scotch, and rye until such time as we are fighting drunk. Then we shall find, and beat the asses of, the nonbelievers who ruined my feast. "

Amen.

Alvis day is totally my new day! Why have I not heard of this before? *runs off to learn more, get drunk and pick a fight in celebration*
