The silk brushed across this cool marble floor swishing as the Empress made her way to the grand doors. The opening let a sweet breeze blew across her face, “Now to lay this to rest”, She thought nodding to the Monk standing at the bottom of the steps. “You’re council was most helpful, a great many things are now clarified” Bowing deeply, the monk did not say a word but stood prostrate till the Empress was well out of sight. With a deep breath Miko and her entourage stepped into the portal that left a blue hue on the trees, making the Cherry blossoms a deep purple.

The people along the road bowed, some fell to their knees, letting their fingertips touch the hem of the decorative kimono that was adored with small lotus flowers delicately painted with embossed gold thread. The attendants walking in pace with her, gave out small coin purses to those along the way. The noise of metal clashing and the scuffle of feet reached her ears before the sight of men sparring in front of the teahouse.

Taking stock of the people assembled, noting the presence of the citizens from Stonegate among her own people.
