There comes a time in people's life where real life overwhelms them to the point that their gaming time has been hindered. Because of this a person may be faced with the decision which would be put Ultima Online down for awhile or even forever. I always saw great roleplayers come and go or even go and never come back. And honestly, I thought that I wouldn't be one of those people and play Ultima Online until the day I die. But it seems that my time in the ARPC and Ultima Online must come to an end. This is a decision that I have been thinking about for a few days and it hurts me to come to this dreaded decision. With that being said, I will be leaving the world that I have been a huge part of which is the Atlantic Roleplaying Community. Before I go, I just wanted to say a few words to the people who I have interacted with since god knows how long. I thank the following people who I have endless fun with in the community:

I will try to pop in on ICQ and Ventrilo once in awhile. I wish the best for those who continue to make this community fun for all members both old and new. Good bye to you my friends of the ARPC.

Dood, you were always awesome. Spawn was one of those characters that sticks out in my mind as having a strong identity. I hope life goes well for you, drop me a line from time to time, k?

You and I have RP'd through about 4 different mediums, Spawn. NWN1, NWN2, UO, and PnP. I always enjoyed RPing and PvPing with you. Though you may decide to stop RPing for now, I highly doubt that our RP paths won't cross again.

A little teary-eyed here. I remember when your uncle rl, LEGION, introduced us in Rivendell. He and you walked around the corner of the Hungry Halfling and he was giving you a few pointers. You were just a kid then learning how to work your character. You have been a true friend to many and I count myself lucky to have met you. I can always throw the saying at you "They all come back!" and I truely hope you do when you are ready. I will miss you.

I have always had a great time RPing with you, be it when it was an enemy hyped up on Justice, or as the ally not in possession of his self. Every bit of me wants to utter the famous "You'll be back" but I think this time I will just keep it to myself. I am sure that considering what you do IRL, you are moving onto more important things (even more important than UO, obviously) that will benefit society largely. For that, I give thanks alone. It is people like you who keep others safe, and just know that you and your efforts are greatly appreciated.

I truly hope that you will eventually return. That said, I will follow Goona's lead, and re post the fan art I did of your char Spawn.

sad to see you leaving Spawn. A break can be good. I think we all understand that real life comes in sometimes. I'm juggling a family of my own and a career etc..Hopefully you'll find your way back or will find something to fill that time.

Although I never got a chance to rp in-game with you or get to know you as a player, I'll still hold off hope that we'll be able to in the future.

Don't sell your account. Bank all the important stuff and turn it off. People who quit tend to get overly emotional and just try to get rid of it all and when nostalgia calls they have nothing to look back on. You may think you'll never be back, but you never know what the future holds.
