I've only just discovered that while unarmored and without any spells cast on me (Reactive Armor, Magic Reflection, Protection, etc...) my Physical Resistance is -17.
All of my other Resistances are 0 and attempting to cast those previously mentioned spells again only lowers my Physical Resistance even further (excepting Reactive Armor).
Any insight? |

It's been done.
Perhaps there is some lasting condition I have that does not show in my Magic Effect bar? |

Fool around with the spells some more. If it doesn't fix it, call a GM. _________________

I was hoping I wouldn't have to resort to that, but I suppose I must. |

Yeah how much would it have blown your mind if I'd said you looked like your physical resist was down 17 points last night while I attempted to dazzle you with my lofty (and rather obvious) observations. Man I wish I'd had a way to guess that. |

I would have been quite taken aback as I hadn't even noticed until this morning.
We all (sadly) have our limits. |

Protection spell hurts resists (mostly physical. -17 sounds like protect is on). Try playing with that.
Besides that, magic reflection is the only other spell that affects phys to make it negative.
Unless you got some strange bushido bug. _________________ Femmies?! HOWAH!

Only because I know everyone was on the edge of their seats in anticipation I'll inform that a GM fixed whatever bug was affecting me.
The experience was far more tolarable than I thought it would be. |

I had tried that. Casting Protecting lowered it to somewhere in the -30s. Although, I imagine that was somehow the cause of the issue. |

It's even more annoying when you happen to stand next to someone who casts arch-protection without you realizing it. You know you didn't cast it on yourself.. but can't figure out what happened. And then sometimes you just end up the unlucky victim of a glitch. :/ Glad to hear the GM process was tolerable and that you are back to normal. (or whatever constitutes normal for you) |

You have to be in party for Arch Protection to work on someone. _________________

My best guess is a malfunctioning Protection spell I cast upon myself. Likely, in some regard, affected poorly by a bad connection or a disconnection.
My biggest curiosity is how long I had the glitch without realizing it. It was only when I found myself haphazardly unarmored that I noticed it.
Regardless, no real point in worrying about it now. What's done is done. |

If it is a glitch, just ring up a GM. I remember something like that happening to me once. In my case I am pretty sure it was protection but I can't remember for sure. If you have already tried casting both protect and archprotect on yourself, just hit the help button. -17 resist kinda hurts. _________________ Femmies?! HOWAH!
