Just a brief little note.. my guild and a few others... specifically Merci, were aware my Husband had been admitted for pneumonia and placed in critical care at a local hospital last Monday. I thought I would update.. for those who knew and had asked about him. He will be coming back home tomorrow!!! He is doing ever so much better. He will be weak, dizzy and coughing for the next month they have said. But that is much better than he was. So thank you to those of you who have asked about him and about me.

I'm glad to hear he'll be home, Bryelle. That has to have been scary and stressful. Make sure to kick his butt and make sure he listens to ALL orders!

Pneumonia is bad stuff, folks. Many people don't realize just how bad, or how quickly it can take an otherwise strong person off their feet.

I would like to take a moment to warn everybody: There is a seriously contagious form of pneumonia out in the community these days and hospitals are full of the victims. Yes, contagious. If you're somewhere and someone is hacking and coughing, get out of their way. The estimated contagion radius is six to eight feet, even if someone is coughing into a hand or a crooked arm.
