People inhabiting these cities may find these unusual insects crawling around. A trained naturalist may recognise they are foreign to the area, and perhaps may originate from Ter Mur or the Abyss. However you wish to handle these insects is entirely up to you, if you are entirely uninterested in participating the insects may simply die due to the climate change. You can also capture them and study them, or try to investigate out how exactly they ended up in your city in the first place.

Blackmarsh may discover larvae burrowing into their cattle.

Hanse's Hostel would have a sudden outbreak of small beige coloured biting mites. They might do poorly on the tiled surface, but undoubtably they would aim for cloth and fur.

Moonglow, especially the Lycaeum, would have a strange phenomenon occuring. The insects themselves are highly translucent small flying insects, they are nigh invisible until they have fed off an animal by biting them, in which case the blood floating in their bellies will make them visible.

The snow in Stonegate would hide a vicious surprise. A smaller breed of trap door spiders have made their home in the snow, working it as makeshift sand.

Not that I'm against this RP, but...

Please contact me in the future if you wish to do any kind of RP that relates to the wellbeing of Blackmarsh, any RP that relates to cursing Blackmarsh, or any RP involving Blackmarsh at all. We welcome all sorts of RP, but we like to be informed of things such as this, rather than being thrown into it.

I hate to sound like a dick, but really. Talk to me first. Until then, our cattle are fine.

Then all of the insects die, the climate differences are too harsh and do not thrive in Blackmarsh :)

I would rather do unscripted conflict that allows for players to investigate what is happening, but I also understand people may not wish to participate and so provide ways to get out of it.

I'm all for unscripted conflict too. Don't get me wrong. But just a personal heads up would be good, rather than having to read about it on the boards. The reason I say this is because if we decided not to go along with it, but yet some people visit Blackmarsh, not knowing we haven't gone along with it, and they themselves go along with it, that provides a bit of a conundrum, you know what I mean?

Hmm, true enough. In the near future I'm planning on having various places be temporarily cursed again, which is entirely optional to take part in entirely since you get to choose if your character is effected or not. Do you foresee this as an issue?

Oh dear.... Well the wolves that constantly roam our Forsaken North will have had those handled.

Hahahah, that gives me a really funny mental image of wolves jumping around in the snow trying to find the tasty little crunchies hiding in it.

Vice versa. I appreciate Cal taking Blackmarshs well being into consideration. As to any town and any of their GMs. But if you'd like to work out any details to any "neat-lil-rp-ideas" you have...make sure you iron out the ideas with either:

A - The GMs of spoken town

or

B - The controllers of a town itself.

Im not against spontanious RP..but stuff like this should be figured out long before being presented as "happening"
