Old rule:

Killing enemy mounts is not permitted unless it has been sent to attack you or your allies.


New rule:

Quote:
Killing enemy pets is not permitted unless the pet or the owner is attacking you or your allies.



The old rule was worded in a way that made it against the rules to attack the mount of a dismounted player, despite it being a generally accepted and OK practice in the community. The new rule that was voted on by the Senate has made it so that it is no longer against the rules, so there is no more confusion.
