Hey everyone,
it's funny, seems like the entire Q^A members are having RL issues. Anyway, I wanted to leave an update and to ask if the Tangled Web's tavern night be pushed back a bit in November? Ok here goes the update...I am days from closing on my house. Most of my furniture is already there as well as the boxes from the first move. I am looking at paint and carpeting now to get done as soon as I close. My cousin is expected to be in her house this coming weekend. HOWEVER, I will be out of commission to move anything as I am having surgery on the 15th. Two years ago when I had my gallbladder removed, the surgeon saw some spots om my liver. We have been watching them but they have grown in size. We've ran CAT scans, MRI's, and a nuclear test to see what they were, all have come back inconclusive. SO, the end result, is a tissue biopsy. Of course none of this has to be easy and the pathologist, radiologist, and the surgeon all feel that doing a needle biopsy will not result in a good sample so they have to go in laprascopically and get a core biopsy. Normally I wouldn't worry but the liver is highly vascular which runs the risk of hemorrhage. Plus these spots could be tumors that are heavily fed by a vessel since they have grown in two years.
Prayers for a steady hand and a smooth surgery would be appreciated.

Nalimar has started a new job since returning home from his trip here in September. He is the new department head of incoming projects at Lowe's, so he's been busy learning the ropes and settling in before returning to school.

I have gotten a few messages from Deathwynd that his life was picking up but I have also gotten wind he's been popping in game more and more which I am glad. And Drayden, well I know he was busy for a bit but looks like he's popped in as well.

I hope we will all be back soon.

Sincerely,
Tina

Surgery went well, thanks to all the thoughts and warm wishes. By alas, my roller coaster of a life did not stop there. I spent the night at the hospital to watch for any bleeding as the liver is highly vascular. That went well even though my right shoulder was killing me. We (myself, co-workers, and the doctor) contributed it to the gas they use to inflate the abdomen during surgery. I went home to my parents house and hobbled around the next few days. Monday I woke with extreme pain in my right shoulder, under my collarbone, and an inability to take normal breaths. I called my co-workers for some advice and was thought it be best to come in and get checked out. The whirlwind of my father speeding me to the hospital, running red lights and giving me chest pain, I was admitted to the hospital. Tests were coming back that suggested a pulmonary blood clot. CAT Scans and ultrasounds proved that wrong and showed collapsed areas of my lungs and pnuemonia. I trust my doctor completely but his testing was wearing thin on me. He seems to find something wrong in any tests. The latest was questionable lesions in my breast which sent me for my first mammogram. Ok let me say that is THE ULTIMATE torture men designed for women. Ultrasounds were done, and 2 were found....so again I am heading BACK to surgery this friday for a breast biopsy. The good news is that the liver lesions were shown to be prolific fatty tumors and completely benign!!!!

What's this mean???? I will be off work for some time or at least light duty. I think by Drayden's post there may be a hint of things to come. *chuckles*

As for the house, I will be closing as soon as the title company calls me....the loan is done from the bank's side, so more moving is in store.
Take care and I hope to talk to you all soon. Feel free to leave ICQ's as I usually connect to it via iPhone and check in as often as I can.
