I've been a LOST junkie since day 1. That is the ONLY show I will actually make sure I see every week. Eli Stone and Life on Mars were good too. Too bad Eli Stone didn't last. It was written better than 90% of the shows in the past several years. Loved Jericho too. |

Lost is the best, everything else (Except Always Sunny in Philly) is terrible or just alright. _________________ I have no idea what you are talking about.

I love Lost. I wish Dead Like Me had stayed running, but I guess it wasn't popular enough. Though it was funny as hell. |

Don't even get me started on LOST. Seriously, I could go on for hundreds of hours talking about this show (I have before) and just how absolutely brilliant and spectacular it truly is. I personally think it is the greatest show of all the time, in every possible aspect, and I honestly do not ever expect another show to even be able to challenge it. I am going to cry my eyes out when this show is over, and I will hate television forever. Well, maybe not, but it's seriously going to suck without any more LOST to look forward to.
I am curious as to who everyone's favorite character is. Mine is definitely Desmond. All his episodes are seriously awesome, and "The Constant" from Season 4 is without a doubt my favorite episode in the series thus far. The actor should've won an emmy/oscar/whatever for his role in that episode, if not all of them. I really hope we see a lot more of him in Season 6, as there was a definite lack of Desmond in Season 5, much to my disappointment.
Oh and it's also really fun to get other people addicted to the show, to see their reactions and all the OMGs. I've gotten several people hooked on it, and I think I helped our Dar Dar get into it as well. |

I own Lost season 1 and 2 on DVD, havn't been able to watch the last season tho...work and book have kept me waaay too busy.
With my limited TV time, I only can manage 1 or 2 shows.
True Blood.
I dont need anything else. _________________

Adonias and I are watching that show right now. I have a love/hate thing with the show.
I love the concept culturally of vampires integrating into society and the ideas involved with it, even though it really isn't how I view kindred. However, Sookie and Bill annoy the living piss out of me though. I just want to beat Sookie into a pulp for being so damn... her. Far as Bill goes, I would have diabl'd him had he been my childer. I don't mind the emo vampires in the right areas I suppose (I mean Toreadors do have uses after all... teehee), it just gnaws on my very soul how romantic and pussified many kindred characters on TV/movies are these days.
I love danger... I love the fact they are predators... I love the fact that when you are dealing with them it should be like poking a twig at a grizzly... _________________

Don't get me started on True Blood. Don't get me wrong, I love the show, and it's way better than the book. But it seriously isn't the first like it. It had been done more than a few times by the time Charlotte Harris wrote her series. I agree, though, Bill needs to be smacked multiple times. (I LOVE Eric. )
You want the best and original with an integrated Vampire? Laurell K. Hamilton's Guilty Pleasures. It's the first book of her Anita Blake series. And to get an idea, I was caught by the heading on the back of the book. "I don't date vampires, I kill them." Supreme Court just revised the meaning of living for the constitution, and she's a legal vampire executioner for rogue vampires. [/end rant] _________________ (4:45:41 PM) Jarem: It becomes increasingly difficult to feel noble in my causes when my cause is to defend my charge from her own violent tendencies. |

Jericho was pretty awesome. I enjoyed every episode. I almost became a Ranger when they pulled the show but didnt stoop to that level of fandom. It was a great show and ended well...
BUT, hands down best show ever on TV was the new Battlestar Galactica. Season 1, episode name 33. Cylons attack every 33 minutes, no human can get good sleep. Fighters on stims to keep active. Awesomeness to the extreme. Aside from that, Baltar was the best character ever on TV, amazing actor and amazing performance.
Lost is getting good after horrible season 3. I got 1k gamer score off the xbox game. G-G-G-Unit. |

I agree. I love Eric. He is an absolute bastard and plays a fantastic vampire. I loved his attitude to that chick Bill had to embrace as punishment.
An' I'm -so- glad to hear of another Hamilton fan. I read both the fae and Blake books. The Fae books are completely on par with how the fae -should- be. They aren't a bunch of prissy nice fairies. Even the seelie are backstabbing bastards, they just do it less obvious than the unseelie. Just like kindred, internal politics play a huge role and just because they are all fae, doesn't mean that they all love one another. I love Anita's character although a couple of the books made me die a bit when she'd go from ultra bad ass to whiny. Jean-Claude is interesting, but I would have tried to take his city by now with as weak as he appears at times.
Edward... I LOVE Edward and he's an inspiration to several of my characters. Another one was Olath (as I recall the name)... minor character in Obsidian Butterfly... absolutely fantastic. A human... serial killer tendencies and mega-high on the creepiness scale.
So yes, Hamiiton... great author... and the 'adult' scenes in the book... are great for other reasons *cheesy grin* _________________
