I was being completely serious. Sarian might not have been. But I was. We like Gold, we dislike Peace, and we hate Sweatpants. Read our RP posts about working in Blackmarsh. There's a reason for it!
Liking Gold and disliking Peace isn't exactly "known relationships between guilds," but this is the type of answer that should be expected from a Mercenary company. And it gives more insight into the guild rather than just saying "Likes: No one. Dislikes: No one. Hates: No one."
As was said earlier though, to attempt to have a document about current relationships is futile. Even by the time this post has started, I bet at least one of the listed relationships has changed somewhat. In essence, the only currently foreseeable consistent relationships would most likely be:
Sanctus and OES hate eachother.
The Protectorate are allied to one another.
Infinite Mercenary Company likes gold, and will like you for gold.
Blue Lotus hates anyone who infringes upon Tokuno.
Stonegate likes (Classified) and hates (Classified)
And Sarian really does like candy apples. _________________

The Kingdom of Yew has diplomatic ties to Sanctus and is a member of the Protectorate. It is currently involved in trade with Tokuno (Blue Lotus) and is seeking a formal, military, alliance with them.
Under the direction of Thraxas it can outwardly be characterized as lawful neutral, and somewhat isolationist in governmental policy. Slowly developing, and initially inconspicuous, will be its more sinister agenda. _________________ "If a criminal has what you want, you do business with him." |

Hmm.. See this idea sounds good on paper, listing everyone up and classifying them into little cliques and what have you, but really it hurts the RP. It automatically zones into peoples mind that if they decide they want to say join one group, that they are to automatically hate all the foes according to that list. Not to mention, how often would it get updated? I know when I first started if i had seen something like this I would have taken it to heart and just instantly sneered at my group's enemies and began to treat them as such. It was bad enough with the warring system, Ceinwyn had to constantly beat me to remind me that just cause they were orange doesn't mean they are really our enemies. If you want to know what the relations are between the existing guilds RP RP RP RP.
On a softer note, Moreau that list looked really great. I have some reports at work that could use some pizazz like that! _________________ Malorn ‎(12:14 AM):

I think Cals post in the three pages sums it up the best. Along with Moreaus list there. Robert basically wanted to know who was exactly hating on who..and who was buddy buddy at the moment..to get a better grasp as to how he'll probably reenter the roleplay.
Everyone knows it wont be dead on and a list may be difficult. But for the most part, a basic idea is all he really needed.
My original post was a bit off topic. But don't lie. I bet most of you chuckled and continued reading, mildly amused. Anywhoo. That is all. _________________ Brianha ‎(10:04 PM):

I would also hazard to say the although Stonegate may not be public about how they feel about Umbra and the Order, the Order hates Stonegate.
I would also say they arent real fond of Moonglow either, but they aren't openly hostile to them either. _________________

You forgot opiates under likes. I don't care if those filthy lightbringers took Isk off it. Isk is not Isk without utopia!
I am on roleplay strike until Isk is high as a kite once more. |
