Sitting in the cigar room of her gentleman’s club Brianha went over the last details of what she needed to do for opening night. She needed to interview and hire the ladies, and also a couple of men to keep things in order should there be any problems… she would need to post some signs she thought to herself as she nodded writing that on her list. It was strange that she had the desire to run this operation.. but she was glad she purchased it from Arabella.. who seemed in her own world these days anyhow.

A frown crossed her face with a slight blush creeping up her cheeks as she thought of her irrational indiscretion a short time ago. Her first meeting with the man had left anything but the desire to be near him again… and now.. now she had gone and allowed whatever poison was in her mind at the time take over and force her to act like some wanton … shaking her head she cursed at herself. As embarrassed as she was and as much as it hurt her pride to think of those actions.. in a way she was glad she still had the capability for such strong passion… seeing him again should prove to be interesting she mussed to herself as she stood up and straightened her skirt… holding her held high she shrugged it off and thought it best to keep her hurt pride buried… she didn’t want him knowing he was anywhere in her thoughts at all… “damn that man”…. She had many more things to think about and get done, she would not allow that to preoccupy her thoughts right now. A surge of excitement ran through her as her thoughts turned to her business and how much she looked forward to seeing this finally come to fruition. “Off to print those signs” she said out loud to herself…..
