A wisp arrives for Alaundril and Kinn with a missive from the Oracle.

Shadowmancer, Unseen,

The Wolf King has been infected with a disease similar to that which hit Moonglow and Tokuno. While we do not know its effects on the system of a Lycan, he has taken precautionary measures to combat the spread to the people of Stonegate.

Also last night much happened on the battle field that I wish to inform, there are things I can ask only those that walk the shadows to do.

Unseen and Unheard.

Alaundril carried the Oracle's still sealed letter with him into the Double Dagger. He found the dry hot air here in the desert more comfortable than the brutal cold of Stonegate Valley. With the recent happenings in this area lately, he found it rather easy to rekindle the business that could be done from his small lounge in the desert. This place would a play a more important role in his activities soon. The Drow hoped so. He missed these lands, and truly felt as if he belonged here. Alaundril set a glass down next to the decanter of whiskey on his desk, pouring a half glass and sitting in his flush chair. Alaundril drummed his fingers on the stone desk as he read the Oracle's message. A smile crept across his face and he quickly began to pen a reply:


Oracle:
We will speak tonight about the specifics. But if what I have gathered is right, this illness that has befallen the King is similar to other cases that K and I have see in Moonglow and Zento. I will watch for others that may exhibit symptoms. It would be wise to keep the King away from those who can be infected. And anyone else that becomes infected needs to be isolated as well. I hope the King can recover from this easily, as his sword arm is invaluable.

A wolf delivers a response back to Alaundril;


Alaundril,

The infection of the disease is very limited, he stood next to willow who is an Ethereal, not living and she burnt her shroud. Azunda touched Myrddin and he was sent home.

However I am taking precautions having the mages destroy all bacteria or disease with high heat therapy. Nothing can withstand the Pyromancers flames.

There will be retribution for this. I will speak to you on that tonight..

Just a side note, Elves have not shown signs of catching it in past cases, however, do be cautious and launder your clothing after each visit to Stonegate. So you do not spread it.
