*The note is a bit shakily penned, and is sent with a messenger. The messenger is to inform Lady Smythe to read the note outdoors, burn it, and cleanse her gloves after reception.*

My Love,

So it seems fortune does not shine in my favor. Whatever illness Azunda brought with him last evening is starting it's course on myself. I will remain away from home until a cure can be sought, or it clears of it's own measure.

If you find a way to clear this infection, please make haste. I cannot tell you how I despise being confined to a bed, away from our own. I love, and will miss, you dearly, but I dare not run the risk of infecting the children.

Rest well my love, I hope to hear from you soon.

With pain in my heart,
Orelen

P.S. I hate Umbra.

Orelen,
A foolish care taker I am. I took the time to take off my cloak that hid most of me, but I neglected to take off my gloves. The children are all sick as well. Rodderick has been clinging to my side coughing and burning up, Thoryne refuses to even leave her room, even Iris had no desire to wander out. Their symptoms are all alike. If your feet are able, come home. No sense to continue your solitude.

PS: The next time I see Kaelthir, I will have her head on a pike. What a fine lawn ornament she will make.

Come home soon my love,
Willow.
