A slight haze over his mind, Izrem slowly but assuredly continued the movement of artifacts and key documents to the Temple of Morgaz. With the return of Brother Azunda, Izrem once again had access to the spire and intended to make good use of it in consideration of the current situation.

The attack the Orcs had made against their "allies" had shattered their association. It was irritating but also quite liberating. The Orcs had once been loyal and useful allies. But they had grown too large too fast. Too arrogant. They had forgotten the Undead's support and now sought alliances with Stonegate. Ah... Stonegate. Izrem smiled inwardly.
"Well played" he thought to himself. "You have subverted them, easy as it may be. I wonder if you can bribe them long enough to keep them off your backs. Or perhaps without their allies you'll now turn and destroy them?"

Izrem continued his reverie as his retinue of undead continued transport of the various items. No one would know where or what the Undead were moving. With the Orcs gone, the Order could shift its focus to what it was best at. If the Orcs returned, they would find nothing of value to take. Azunda had gone ahead to secure to Bloodstone and place it somewhere the Orcs could neither find nor touch. Darrien had gone into his chambers and began meditations with his inner presences and Oblivion as to the next step. As far as the Orcs and the rest of the world would know, nothing had changed besides a shifting of alliances.

But the eternal and entropic nature of Oblivion and the Order was not about to falter. Indeed, it was all teleological. Yet another step down the path to inevitability. As the last of his undead minions carried the last of the key artifacts he was assigned into the portal, Izrem dispelled the gate and burned the runes. Only his and Azundas remained now. Intoning the incantation of Recall, Izrem disappeared into the Umbran night, set to continue to work of Oblivion anew.
