Thank you to everyone who came out to the Tangled Web's first tavern night. I will admit, I was quite nervous about how the turn out would be, so much so that I was tempted to be drinking in real life to calm myself. You all proved to me that I was silly to be nervous and gave me sensory overload to boot. At least I know I picked the right floors!!!! I think at one point I didn't see a single empty seat. Thank you Orcs for smelling up the place Laughing . Thanks Toren for insulting the Matron. Very Happy And everyone I didn't personally thank, forgive me, as I said I was in sensory overload.

Anyways, I HOPE Dhar adds to this post as my brain is completely fried (hint hint). In reference to his Crossroad post....yes, some of the drinks were laced with a drug that he created.

I open it for you all to have fun with it. Post stories, rp symptoms, go through withdrawls, etc. I promise I won't drug you guys all the time..... Twisted Evil

Glad to have come, I have to admit when stonegate opened its meadhall I was similarly nervous. Yet the community continues to impress me with its support.

I was happy to attend.

I will say that you have a VERY well designed house and the deco was very well done - overall the theme of the place was spot-on..you should be proud

The link explaining the nature of the drug in the plot can be found here: http://www.atlanticcommunityboard.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20933 Please take a few minutes to look it over if you were at the event and drank or ate something and are human.

The main idea is to influence humans and their leaders to view the drow with greatly enhanced respect, bordering on admiration, with the addition of a sort of vague mental connection to the Matron Mother's wishes as seen in ideas, dreams, and possibly visions. This would be nearly irresistible. It could resolve itself into any number of things... from concessions of land to the drow as a "gift" from the admirer; the sudden shift of alliances in favor of the drow; a bizarre and perverted sense of duty to them (handing over criminals to be sacrifices, would be an extreme version); monetary gifts; refusal to do combat with them, etc. The limit of your imagination, and willingness to roll the dice with your roleplay, are the only limits.

Naturally this is purely voluntary, but it is hoped many who were there will go along with it. Thanks in advance to everyone, and anyone, who plays along but also those who attended the tavern event.
