Anyone else read where is mentioned Darrien and his friends being "the new guard" then laugh to themselves at that title, then immediately frown and feel very old?

I think he was more speaking of the new umbrans such as Jase, Shalcross and Morio to Lestat Merci and Myr they are *new* and they are guarding Darrien.

Yeah I don't think he was referring to Darrien...I also don't think he was implying Umbra itself. He was implying the 'realm of umbra' guild, and the people that are in the positions now that we once were.

I could see what you mean if he was implying the city of umbra itself.

I -know- exactly what he was talking about. Just makes me feel like a relic to have been a part of the "original occupants" of Umbra and to now be called the new guard.

I dont think Lestat was even thinking about you, as he doesnt know you and doesnt even know you are in that guild. We have not seen you. I again think he meant some of the Realm of Umbra people. But perhaps it would be best to ICQ Lestat in person as it seems to be causing confusion.

correct it was based off of the thought process of the events that where unfolding in umbra the other day.. Since merci was getting frustrated in charcter it was more of what lestat was thinking in his head.. Sorry for the confusion Razz

there was no direct tie to darrien no, just of the new guys that I havent met yet. "jace and etc" As they had joined umbra after I had left on break.. So in refrence to "new guard" So I apologize if i caused any drama Smile

There is no drama. Just awesome silly hats. You people don't realize what you're missing out on, Darrien gave us all silly hats and we have silly hat parties. I can take pictures of the wonderful silly hats he has bestowed me with if you want.
