Kal'iksix walks passed one of the posters that decorate Umbra and smiles.
"I rather enjoy having the Matriarch on my side."
She laughs rather loudly and continues her walk to the stables to see her spiders. |

Sindreline takes not of a new poster in Umbra while on his way to the Jewler.
"Interesting I shall make note of this." |

Ciara paused on her treck, her hands full of potions of varying colors and sizes, along with a multitude of rocks. She read the poster and nodded to herself.
"Okay," she thought, then cursed when one of the potions hit the ground, and an odd white smoke began to appear. Mutterin under her breath she sped off, trying to juggle all in her hands once more, not looking back to see the havoc she wrought.. |

The figure clad in the purest of darkness sat upon the dark throne of the Barracks; unyeilding gaze watching as the runecasters, mages, necromancers and enchanters placed their charms upon the buildings interior. The russling of robes and the whispering of spells being cast gave a silent smirk upon the fallen eternals' lips.
"Sire!" the youth called as he stumbled through the open doors of the building. "There is a decree from the Matriarch."
Taking the parchment from the rather too young page with gloved hands, he unrolled it with two hands. dark saphire eyes pulsed from behind the shadow mask that he wore as he took in the warning and banishment. Idly scrolling the parchment back the Patriarch set it aside upon the table of bones. The scribe folded his arms gripping himself as the shiver of fear over whelmed him. "If thats all ... you are dismissed." the King of Umbra said as he gave a dismissive wave of his hand.
A hollow chuckle escaped his lips as a thought crossed his mind. ~Those kids will never learn - a ngiht being flayed alive would suit them each a bit of good.~ |

Surprise was not something Demetria felt when she read the decree. Though she did not know the second one mentioned, she was aware of the identity of the first. Aside from that, the stories abounded about the outrageous nature of the masked one known as Bleys, he was a thorn in the collective Umbran side; she had experienced some of his antics firsthand.
She scowled as she reread the words, and a bitter taste of disgust rose in her throat.
Why couldn't people just leave Umbra alone? |

Edda jumped through the moongate in Umbra and started running off to visit Sia and Yia, when it caught her eye. She read it, scoffed and kept on running. |

The old drow was riding through the city on his nightly round when he saw the Matriarch's decree....
"Certainly doesn't take her long does it?"
A grin spread across his face as he recalled the two human's strutting into the tent not too far from here. They came seeking their justice, but when will they learn that the justice here is a little different...no bother. Hopefully I won't be harassed by them again. It's bad for business.
Alaundril rode on towards the north side of town, his mood a bit better now after seeing that posted order. Though he was slightly disappointed that he may not be able to bash that pale skinned elf's face into a rock. He shrugged. "Lets just hope I'm not the one that finds either one of them around here." With a dark quiet laugh he rode into the night. |

Ceinwyn smirked as she watched Bleys from the shadows outside the teahouse. The man had taken to wearing a grey hooded robe. He'd told her his old mask was stuck fast to his face, sometime a while back. Somehow, he'd been able to remove it, either that or he'd been just flat out lying. It mattered not, most of her military was familiar with his voice and his personality. There was something of a boon to having kitsune among her arsenal, for even Bleys' smell was enough to give him away.
Presently, walked past on the path beside, came the other. Padruig the elf, for she hadn't bothered to learn his last name. This one would be easy to spot from a mile away. Blue-green skin with flaming hair. The ice-blue glowing bow he often carried. Indeed, the one he'd dared pull on her within Umbra. The very reason for his current status.
She recalled back to Umbra and wrote descriptions of all she knew about the two annoying men. Soon, the descriptions would be in the hands of every Umbran, by parcel post or by minion. If necessary, she would mentally plant the images in their minds so her warriors would know them. The days of being annoyed by Bleys and his arrogant "lawman" act were at an end. If he was to be the first testimony to this glorious new age of darkness, so be it. |

He lay on his back upon the wooden porch of the House VanHellseig, the winds heating his armor to an uncomfortable degree. He lapped at the bucket of water, but still found no reprieve. The morning spawn was eaten, his dish lay empty, and now, the bucket was empty.
He was hungry, he was bored!
Suddenly, up the path that lead from Umbra, came a man running fast. With a leap from the porch, he landed directly in front of the man, stopping him in his tracks.
The man made water.
Pushing the man out of the way with his snout, he spun around, hiked his leg, and also made water. Turning back around, he noticed the man had decided to lay down. The run must have worn him out.
Carefully with his front teeth, he picked up the man by the color of his tunic and leaped toward the door.
As his body jerked around, the man came to.
"Release me! I have a message from the Matr..."
His body hit the door.
"I have a message fro..."
His body hit the door.
"HELP!" the messenger shrieked.
The doors opened.
"IronClaussen! Drop him! Drop the messenger! Bad dragon! BAD!"
With an upturned hand, the messenger handed Lord VanHellseig a scroll. "A decree... from the Matriarch."
"Ahh, trouble!" Lord Alex replied after reading the decree. "On your way, and tell the Matriarch I am at her service! Ohh,... do be careful at the next house, her dragon breaths fire." |
