As some of you may have noticed, I've been lurking about the RP community on Atlantic for several months now. (Either as Xori Machiavelli of The Giovanni Clan, Ember Cawood - general pain in everyone's butt, or as Cezanne Abella).
I would like to take this space and this exact moment (no really - THIS exact moment) to say hello to all of you fine folk, and thank you to those of you who've interacted with me on some level. I've tended to be a loner since I traversed to Atlantic, but I certainly don't want to be antisocial. Mostly I've just stood back and admired the runnings of the ARPC machine.
I also wanted to toss out an idea I have been working on for some time now. I have built a tavern/theatre, and was considering holding some sort of RP there on a quasi-regular basis. I think it would be fun to hold improv, stand-up comedy, one-act play productions, poetry readings/competitions, or anything else lending itself to the venue. (Charades, anyone?) I have also founded a guild that may or may not be a viable option, called the Sosarian Players. If interested, people could put their alts and/or contributing characters in such a guild and be recognized as a part of the artistic community. Of course I know most main characters are already members of well-established guilds.
If anyone has any ideas or constructive criticism on such a plan/idea, please let me know. I'd like to know if there is any interest or if it truly just wouldn't work. And thank you all for being such a hospitable community! |

I've seen the place, and it is amazing. I can't wait to experience the fun of this venue. If you need any help, you know you can count on me! _________________ "Detached reflection cannot be demanded in the presence of an uplifted knife."

I'd love to do some stand up. I'm sure I'd slay them. |

I think it is a great idea. I have thought about it over the years myself but just never followed through. Good for you that you are going to do it! Let me know if I can help in any way. _________________ Grand Duchess Molly Kaldhel
