A scraggly mounted adventure comes to a trot outside the former residence of Lord British and after some idle chat informs a guard of a contract stricken between himself and one Melchior Shepard. A small sealed parcel is passed and the two depart. The parcel, if successfully delivered would read as follows.

Good day Lord magnate Regent,
I hope this missive finds you in good health. It is none other than your acquittance Melchior Shepard. We spoke in regards to work, after a brief stay in the settlement north of that strange bar I made for Cove and within a week will return to Britannia Proper. I assume customs will delay us for no more than two days, thusly by the time this reaches you I will be within, or near, the docks of Britain. Until then,

The letter shows signs of the manner in which it was carried, it was sealed with a bland gray wax.
