Right now a member of ours has been AFK for a month because he has been in the hospital undergoing a lot of radio therapy to battle his cancer. He has skin cancer, but a host of other medical issues on top of it. Such as stress induced blindness. Yes, complete blindness at times. He suffered a fall down some stares due to this, breaking his arm and leg. He is currently in a wheel chair, and unable to communicate much as his luck went with his health- his PC fried and his laptop broke.

He says to pass on the news that he misses everyone. He has two more doses of radio therapy, then a month of recovery. Of course, then there will have to be tests to make sure the cancer is out of his system, but as always, he is a ball of optimism.

Those of you who know him, probably know how generous he is, both with his ingame gold, items, and with his IRL cash. He has helped many people out when they needed it. He is a very nice person and simply doesn't deserve this.

not much i can say but damnation!

and if he ever needed a laptop, it is now. spoke with someone online just yesterday who said being able to get support from those in game made such a difference in his recovery from the radiation and chemo treatments.

sending all the good vibes i can his way..

Morio is pure class. Whenever people needed something and Morio was in ear shot he would get it for them no strings or price attached. Like eve I'm sending all my positive thoughts his way.

He'll get better.

Morio is indeed a good and close friend; guy even helped me when I first came back even after hours of insisting "I'm doing good man really" *grins* never met another man of equal integrity.

*lights another candle for a sick friend*
Well my thoughts and prayers are with him. In my profession ( I am a registered nurse) I see this a lot, sadly it seems the recent trend is that people are waiting, I've taken care of more people who do not feel well for a few weeks, FINALLY come into the hospital to find out they have cancer somewhere and it's already run rampant throughout their bodies and has spread. Maybe it's the state of chaos that the US is in that health care is becoming more a luxury than an neccessity. Alas, I will pray for all who are ailing within our community. I beg everyone NOT to wait, no matter what, the bills will be A LOT higher from the hosipital stay, consulting doctors, and god forbid starting invasive treatment than it would be from doctor's visits.

I have not had the pleasure of meeting Morio since my return, but these testimonials speak worlds to his character as person in real life. I wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to meeting him after all of this badness is behind him.

thankyou one and all... currently ripping the hospital off for the net time, prase the netbook... anyway, barring feeling sick nearly constantly and loss of taste every thing is fine... well as fine as things could go in any case, just like to say my thanks to everyone and also thanks to the uk national health service where thankfully not a single penny has this cost me to get treated, hopefully morio will be back with a couple of quivers full of bolts and arrows plus alot of dp darts and get his aim up again... i would be playing now except i have the reactions of 90 year old and fall asleep at the drop of a pin... cheers and peace to all

Glad to hear it Morio.
Sean has by far been one of the most generous people i know. Hes helped me tremendously in ways that would never benefit him.
And for this, he shall be healed!
See you soon sir.
