The Atlantic Rares Festival going on right now. A bunch of folks selling event rares, server rares and such. Even if you are not in the market to buy anything, it still is cool to see some of the neat things out there. Rares collectors from all the shards are there.

There was a scavenger hunt last night and gambling at a casino . There will be another scavenger hunt tonight at 5pm est hosted by Vlad. Although this is -not- geared to rpers, it might be fun for some of you and may generate interest in some to try rp. There is a rune locked down on the steps at my house just outside the southeast gate of Umbra (Dragonstorm Manor). If it is blocked I'll be happy to get you one personally.

Just figured I'd let you all know, although I have seen several of you already there.

*chuckles at Arakad* I know... I was at least a semi-good girl and kept my purchases below 100m this time... unlike you. Hehe

We are hoping to improve the rares festival quite a bit in the future... several vendors had items that were 'not okay' in my opinion and I am hoping that the rares community begins to take a proactive approach to education of the populace in regards to items to watch out for. *crosses fingers* Hopefully when they have the next one they'll be a better system in place.

I did notice a few odd ones. Like a "rare egg" with the same tag as one I have. Confused But the real rares were a delight to see, even if I can't afford it.
