It felt good in a strange and unfamiliar way to be part of something other than herself. She felt welcomed here, like she belonged. There would be no more running in her life. She had decided to instead look fear in the face and tear down her disguise and be the woman she was meant to be. Walking home tonight after her welcome to her new guild she was determined to tear off this silly outer shell that was not her and so with great relief her hat was removed and her brown wig was thrown to the floor. She watched in her mirror as her long blonde curls fell down and caressed her face as they settled into place again. She was safe here… this was home.
