Let's be real-er for a second, community out reach and togetherness is all good and well, but as the drow above me said, he can't, in all respects, waltz into the Magencia tavern and rock out like its 217.
Tavern RP is also stale, as some have been doing it forever. Throwing back a few ales with the gang is all good and well until we find ourselves there too often. We have a myriad of Atlantic specific, guild specific, etc etc etc specific locations that go unused.
Someone come up with a snappy word for a one of those. |

Yes a community event, Sanctus is already planning one as a Spring Festival. I will gladly host repair night or crafting night if any are interested. _________________ aka: Tatiana Thorn nee Alexi; Summer Kane; Ivory Skyfire; and others |

Has anyone considered the option of having a group of people prepare and execute large scale RP events? Something that everyone could have the ability to participate in, with multiple "actors/actresses" guiding a plot forward. I'm not suggesting epic wars or anything like that, but it would be interesting to have old-school Seerish plots again.
For me, that would be a very cool way to spend a Tuesday night. Each day could be a different chapter of the story. Just to be clear, the story wouldn't be planned out in far advance. The events of each week would determine where the story went. |
Im actually working on something large, a scross shard meet up of sorts. but something like that every week is impossible unless paid.
Bagball seems easy, just like tavern night but two tavers in one night, but its bagball not tavern night.
we could even mix it up so that one week, its bag ball, another week, its a tavern night in an NPC/Town made tavern, another week its a peerless, another its a champ spawn, another its tourney in fel or something.
I love where this post is going. Keep it up and lets get something good out of this. _________________

I propose a noob battle.
Let's say..Zombies V Paladins
or maybe..
Bob V John?
50 skill, what you start with, and your 1k.
Meet in New Haven and enter formation.
Dice roll for generals.
Randomly chosen battle fields [best two of three]
Cash money. |

I have to say I think there is enough interest to add something to the community schedule. Perhaps tho, we should look into this being twice a month instead of four times. Give it a totally different rotation then the tavern night one. Have everyone sign up for it again if they are interested (as it may be that some guilds doing tavern nights dont do this and some guilds not doing tavern nights want to do this).
Maybe have the guilds pick from a list of events that could be had, AKA as suggested, bagball, npc taverns, tournaments, hunts or a misc events.
I am just thinking if you start out slow with only two nights a week we can be sure that there is interest and its not to much of a burden for the guilds.
I was thinking we could call it something like Community Event Nights. Set up a list much like Malic does for tavern nights, with dates every other week probably thursdays but of course whatever everyone thinks..
Just my thoughts on it! _________________ May destiny guide you... |

I think the easiest way to start this off is to just throw ideas in a pot, and pic two a month and meet up. like this
1 monday tavern night thursday night brit fairgrounds
2 monday tavern night
3 monday tavern night thursday night NPC tavern (Mistas)
4 monday tavern night
1 monday tavern night thursday night Dungeon run
2 monday tavern night
3 monday tavern night thursday night champ spawn
4 monday tavern night
1 monday tavern night thursday night NPC tavern (Blue Boar)
2 monday tavern night
3 monday tavern night thursday night brit fair grounds
4 monday tavern night
for all of these secondary events to take place require no effor from any guilds.
Just show up and start RPing. At the fairgrounds you can dule on stage, drink, play dice,
archery. Its up to our creative minds. Show up and the rest is simple. _________________

*Points to Caer* what he said.
EDIT: Also, I liked Molly's idea for having trade routes in addition to crafts fairs or whatever. It opens up alot of RP potential for all guilds in ARPC. We can have good guys and bad guys. The idea would be to semi script it (in the spirit of dynamic RP) so that everyone knows about it and can take part how they'd like. |

There will be no make up for this, just getting even. Remember *winks at him* I told you, the blood of the innocent is on your head. =P *skips off to Brit*
But yes, more community mingling would be great! Taverns, caves, festivals, ect. I vote yes! _________________ Malorn ‎(12:14 AM):
