The moon was high in the sky when Drayden rode through Umbra. The streets were deserted and there was a dead calm in the air as he rode towards a haunt of his known as "The Den of Sin".Though he found a certain comfort while in this place, he still kept his hood pulled low. It was a short ride and he arrived at the destination that Arakad had informed him of. He remembered the word "Sake" as the magic word to get a somewhat sedated and drugged Emporer Tai Kwan Leap. Drayden couldn't help but grin about the irony of this situation. He had never held any ill will towards the Emporer, in fact the last time they had spoken it was on a friendly basis.
Drayden hopped off his horse and silently moved into the tavern, keeping his body within the shadows. There was only one other person in the tavern this evening, and that was the mark. He watched him silently for a moment from across the room, Tai's back was to him, which meant an easy approach.
With a smirk on his face he walked up and sat next to him. "Say, its a good night for some Sake". The Emporer looked at the Drow, his eyes blank and expressionless. "You are to come with me sir.."
The both stood and left the Den. Drayden quickly mounted the horse. For the first time he noticed the bindings on Tai's hands. They were like none he had ever seen before. There was a strong magical aura about it. Perhaps the Matron will know...
He quickly opened a magical gate to his Matron's home. There was much that this one was going to endure. Definitely not a normal human... He tuned out most of the nonsensical babbling the old monk did and led him through the gate. They travelled to the home of Matron Kal'iksix, and Drayden felt as if he had a gift for her. This suited his purposes as well, for there could be much to gain with this "gift" of his.
She lounged there in here audience chamber, draped over her throne. She never seemed to be able to stop messing with her nails. Drayden and Tai walked into the dim room. It was lit by braziers placed around the large chamber. It was time to present his Matron with her invincible torture dummy...

Kaliksix was sitting in her throne room, with both her legs over one arm of the throne, filing her nails, while thinking of ways to punish Drayden for his mistake with Moonglow. Rage boiled in her that one of her males had been careless enough to get captured by the humans.

“Why shouldn’t one of my House be allowed to set fires at will? If they weren’t so damn boring to watch, maybe he wouldn’t have had to start them.”
Kal continued to file her nails and did not hear the door to the audience chamber open. It wasn’t until Drayden spoke that she knew she was no longer alone. She smirked inwardly to herself at what she thought was his eagerness to be punished.

“I have brought you a gift, my Matron,” Drayden said on bended knee and downcasted head. Unimpressed Kal’iksix answered him, not looking up from her nails, filing them to a sharp point.

“I think this gift would please you much Matron.”

It was the confidence in his voice that made Kal look up and see a familiar short aged man standing before her. She recognized the little man from her meeting with him after the dinner party with Ronin and the Blue Lotus many months back. A smile curled from her lips as she noticed his bound hands. Kal’iksix threw her legs down from the arm of the chair and looked intently at the man and then to Drayden.

Kal’iksix listened at Drayden recounting the events in which brought him to her with such gift. Her mind spun with thoughts of having someone to torture, to have them sing their lovely songs of pain to her. Nalimar would have fun getting this one to serenade her now that he had returned from his trip to the Astral Plane. She looked at the man and frowned at his defiance that took the form of him looking directly into her eyes. This angered her more.

“Drayden, educate this one on how to address the Matron!” she screamed.

A smile crept across her face as Drayden did as he was told and tried to take out the little man’s knees. He only buckled and provided Drayden with advice on swinging more from the knees and hips. Kal’iksix watched the anger build within him and smiled. Kal’iksix walked across the dais and approached the little man. The little man locked his eyes with her. Anger raged within her and she backhanded him across the face. She watched as the bruise healed instantly. Confused, Kal looked at Drayden. Drayden walked behind and cracked a staff across the little man’s back. Again the man only buckled but instantly returned his gaze to the Matron. This infuriated Kal’iksix even more and she drew back and backhanded him again but this time she had her dagger in her hand that she had secretly withdrawn from within her chest piece. Almost as soon as the bead of red streaked across his face, it was followed by its closing.

“Drayden!!! Bring him to the Playroom!” Kal’iksix ordered as she spun on her heel and stormed to the door. “I MUST break this one or at least have fun doing so,” she thought and smiled to herself.
