The room was quiet as Myrddin slept it had been a long day. The stillness of the room was not broken by sound but by smell as a necrotic smell invading his nostrils and his eyes opened just as the first *Thrumming* of the Lutist was heard. You can imagine for a Lycan the overpowering invasion something of this nature would have upon the nostrils.

His eyes stared up at Larry, who hovered not far, the undead minstrel obviously ordered to make sure Myrddin was well awake for this. Larry had no concept of personal space. Shade only hoped she didnt get him back in to many peices..

The song she sent him to sing went as thus:

He met her there by pirate cove,
The lycan and the vampire,

His eyes upon her they did rove,
The lycan and the Vampire,

She hated him with passion great,
He knew that she must really care,
The Lycan and the Vampire,

You never get to choose your mate,
So softly he did snare,
The Lycan and the Vampire.

Sometimes they grab you by the hair
The Lycan and the Vampire

He dragged her off unto his lair,
Her teeth ripped flesh his skin did tear,
The Lycan and the Vampire

Yet never will you see such a pair,
The Lycan and the Vampire…

The song finishes and Larry has a note upon him that just says:

Lycan! Good Morning! Hahahhahahahaha

The moment he awakened, the bed covering had been thrown into the air before the lutist. Though it didn't seem to have any affect on the odd messenger, by the time it fell Myrddin was crouches on the bed, Kryss in hand at the ready.

Myrddin sat very still for a long moment as the messenger continued to sing, very quickly realizing that it was unlikely the foul creature was here to slay him.

As the song finished, the messenger gave him a stupid grin. Myrddin scowled in return and snatched the note forth.

**********

Good morning, Vampire.

I enjoyed waking up to your wonderful words spit forth by this creature... I enjoyed it so much, in fact, that I'd like to personally thank you and pay tribute to your work...

I'm touched that you remember so clearly who was dragged. You might want to take that to heart also...You've got half an hour head start.

Myrddin

She read the note with great consternation, it appeared Larry would be just fine...

She cursed, and hit the ground running..Note floating to the floor.
