My account is being hacked and I’m in game what do I do?

It’s important that you petition in-game for assistance. You should request that the account be temporarily suspended and if the account is logged in to have it ejected from the game. If you can’t reach a GM please call our billing support number and talk to a CSR to have your account blocked.

What’s the best method for contacting customer support for a hacked account?

If your account has been hacked, and the damage has been done then we recommend you contact UO Support via the Contact Us option at support.ea.com. Please include as much information as you can about what happened, what was lost and ask for the Police FAX number that you can give to your local police department so we can assist them if they contact us.

There’s a lot of things missing on my account, what can EA do about it?

Unfortunately, EA cannot really do anything retroactive to replace your items that were lost. We do promise to work with your local authorities, the FBI or country specific law enforcement agency to provide them will all relevant information they ask for. Though we understand the importance of the items lost we really have no way of knowing the circumstances which lead to the loss of the items or account. I also know how hard it can be to get your local police to understand what happened, but with patience, and willpower you’ll find that even the most difficult police department will begin to work with you.

Arcane Empowerment - The UO.com site says nothing about the summons being harder to dispel nor does it say anything about summons having more HP. Yet the buff icon does. Seems that summons don't have more HP and that summons get dispelled easy. Please explain the disparity.

Animated undead, familiars, and summoned creatures should be harder to dispel. We will review this. However, after looking internally at Arcane Empowerment, it appears that the bonus hit points to these creatures are not being applied. I will have Mesanna make a note of this, so this can be fixed. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Arcane Circle - UO.com doesn't state that arcane circle gives best results and that other things like pentagrams have -1 focus gem penalty. Please clarify where we can Arcane circle. Bloody pentagram gives what focus?

Arcane Circles provide a +1 circle bonus by default. Bloody Pentagrams and Abbatoirs do not provide that default bonus. The Arcane Circle house addon as well as any Arcane Circles in a town or city will also provide the +1 circle bonus by default. The Arcane Circle located in the Prism of Light provides an additional +1 circle bonus (i.e., total bonus of +2).

Will Item Identification finally get some love with Stygian Abyss?

Item Identification will allow a Merchant who is also an Artificer to identify what Imbuing Ingredient an item will produce when it is magically unraveled via Imbuing.

Currently, here are the Imbuing skill requirements to Identify and magically unravel a magic item:

0 Imbuing skill is required for an item that will produce Magical Residue
50.1 Imbuing skill is required for an item that will produce Enchanted Essence
95.1 Imbuing skill is required for an item that will produce a Relic Fragment

Note: these minimum skill requirements are subject to change and are slightly less for Gargoyles.
