Ah, gotcha. I just realized you actually can get access to the menu during that part when you talk to some dude. I didn't really look into anything, just saw he was a high level and had some big HP. Wink

So Galathan. I'm in the cave south of the port town fighting this Earth Abomination that was trapped inside some crystal...

...it's freakin hard! Any pointers?

BTW, the game is amazing so far. I'm pretty much addicted to it.

This is an optional boss battle. You can skip it if you like. However, if you decide to take this boss on, be mindful of its element. It will absorb earth elemental damage, and is weaker to the wind element. It is very possible to beat him, but it is going to be a tough fight. If you are finding it way too difficult, perhaps come back in a level or two and try again, or skip 'em all together. Hope that helps!
