Sorry ARPC, too lazy to wait for Dalbino to get back online, so I'm leaving this here for him and you. Henjoy.
And Actually, well, I've been posting here for some time with these works, I'd like some honest hardcore feedback. How/if I've evolved, possible market, publications too look into sending some pieces. I humbly request whatever I just said. Take care.

I think some possible avenues for you for these designs are book illustrations, product packaging designs, tatoos. You get the idea? If you make them large, painting-size, it's all a matter of finding the right person who will buy it (as with anything that people want to market).
Your images a lot of the time are a collection of ideas and figures, not the usual type with one idea. There are definitely people out there, as you can see from on the forum, who love your work. The hardest part for you will be finding them. Have you considered doing them on canvas and getting an agent or manager or someone professional who can help you with that?
As far as advice, these are your drawings, and right now as they are they look good. I would suggest a more professional medium, such as canvas or wood carving, etc. Have you ever considered painting instead as well? No one is going to buy a doodle on note book paper unless it is truly profound, or if you are already famous. Then people will kill each other for them.
None of this is criticism! I like your art. Keep your form. If you are too eager to please people so you can sell it, you will end up modifying your style. That can be both good and bad, and you may feel as if you have lost a piece of yourself. Some artists won't even sell to certain people because they don't want their creations ending up in weird positions or being butchered. You should definitely try to find buyers who like your particular style.
Hope some of what I said did good stuff. |
