A familiar black wolf appears in a small burst of flame and brimstone-scented smoke, which quickly dissipate. Clutched in the jaws of this beast, who bears a collar engraved with the name 'Mittenacht', is a roll of parchment addressed to one Ceinwyn ab'Arawn. Upon delivery of the parchment, it vanishes.

"To the returning Matriarch of Umbra,

Please forgive my pet, but I thought it urgent to send this letter as quickly as possible. Before your return, I embarked on an appeal among the Umbran Council for an ongoing Banishment that has impeded my way of life recently. Myrddin was the Patriarch, at the time, but my continued correspondance with him has led me to the information that you have, indeed, returned from your long 'slumber' and have retaken the reigns of Umbra.

This has provided only a minor setback to my appeal, as the head judge has now left for his own endeavours.

However, I do with to peacefully continue my campaign to overturn my banishment, my ill feelings toward Umbra and those who serve said banner, long dissipated...my father's wishes to claim the Dry Highlands as a sovereign nation ALSO ended in his recent choice to recluse himself in our tower. It is my hope that we might come to some sort of an agreement that would allow me to roam the lands, attend your fine Umbran Establishment (the Den of Sin) and continue about my daily life unhindered by this nasty banishment from days long past, in which I was much more keen to fight than to settle differences peacefully. I wish to discuss this with you, further, in person in a peaceful and civil manner. Please respond with a suitable time for you, that my attendance might be prompt and available. I respect that you are a great deal busy, so I have instructed Mittenacht to return upon delivery. Send correspondance at your earliest convenience.

Deathwynd,

In light of your apology and your intent to conduct yourself accordingly with Umbran law, I hereby lift the banishment I formerly placed upon you. Let it be known that you are free to travel about and conduct business within the realm of Umbra. Let it also be known that there are two establishments to enjoy, The Den Of Sin and The Dripping Fang Tavern.

Furthermore, if past behavior is repeated I shall be forced to not only banish you, but to place a bounty upon your head. However, I do not think it shall come to that, as your letter seems sincere.

If there is anything further you wish to speak about, keep me informed.
