Recently a number of account security breaches have occurred to people in who play different aspects of the game. I think this would be the best time to double check all of your passwords, scan your system for trojans, and just do a general security sweep.

I refer you all to this guide:

Is there a new icq thing going around or something? How are the security breaches occurring?

Not entirely too sure. One thing to note, however, is that if ANYONE uses Yahoo mail as their account email, CHANGE IT. Yahoo has the worst security. And I don't mean by viruses or trojans or anything, I mean by just calling in. One of the account security breaches came from someone just knowing the guy's name and email. He called into Yahoo and got the info needed to log in. And then he got the UO password.

Side note, sounds like Yahoo could face lawsuits if they keep that funny stuff up.

If you aren't trusty of Yahoo or GMail. You could always try the email address your ISP provider provides you with. At least from my experience, those tend to be safer.
