Keep my son warm during your journey and beyond. There are some chills even his fur cannot keep out. Your presence will be missed greatly here in Umbra.

A pity this letter cannot be entirely personal, as I have a business type request. I would like an update on all things that happened within your division during my absence. I appreciate any assistance you can provide with this.

Matriarch,

It has been many years I have devoted my life to you and to Umbra, and many years I have felt restless within the Halls of our Sepulcher. My path, I never expected, should lead me to the life I have been living, but there is strength in all change, and I give you my thanks for this.

You have lead well, taught much, and inspired me ironically to push for more.

My thanks to you, Matriarch, and I will gladly discuss all that has happened in your absense, it is the least I could do.

The flame I weild will always be at Umbra's doorstep, and my heart in her halls.

It is with no goodbye that I depart, but a new beginning, just as I was brought into Umbra.

Thank you Matriarch for your leadership, and friendship.
