Lotte began to sing to herself on her little stage. A small, merry tune joyfully echoed within the halls and the patrons couldn't help but smile. A male figure walked through the door unseen, a small infectious smiling forming as he watched her prance about. Lotte turned, catching the artisans eye and gave a large wave as she sang her last chorus. Ending, the patrons aplauded enthusiastically. Lotee gave a wide grin, and curtsied, leaving the area to greet the artisan.

Slowly, he was able to control his emotions as the song slowly left the halls. "Lotte, I have a note for you. Your compatriot has left a will, and a small memento for you to remember him by." Lotte stared at the artisan in confusion. Rather than try to explain again, he handed her the letter.

Lotte took it and frowned. It seemed rather large of a piece of paper to be called a memento. After all, didn't memento mean grand memo? Maybe the size was why it was called grand?

"What's a memento?"

The artisan gave a small smile. "A gift to remember him by."

"Ohhh!"

She opened the letter and began to try to read it out loud.

"Dear Com raids, If my dear frined At I sa.. Art, I... Oh, that's you?"

Artisan smiled, nodding. "Wish me to read it for you?"

Lotte nodded emphatically, and handed it to him quickly.

Dear Comrades,
If my dear friend Artisan has delivered this message, I have surely met my end. It is my sincerest hope that you are all well, and that my falter in step has not cost you more than a moment of mourning, but I must ask you take not more than that moment, lethargy will no seep into those I dare call my peers. Assuming my death was swift and unexpected, this note may be outdated, but none the less, I leave to you all which I held in life. This includes the unfinished estate in Malas, the greater portion of my documents and our recent acquisition of the flagship of Adrien Garnier. I have her docked and hidden at a location that will follow, and all of my tools and inventions. With my passing I leave to each of you an assignment and message, and to all of you I leave the aforementioned.

Lotte stared in utter confusion at Artisan, who moved his eyes lower on the paper. "Huh?"

He looked at her. "He's saying not to mourn, and there is a ship, fun toys, and a house you all get."

"Ohhh!"

Artisan nodded and went back to the paper and continued.

Lotte,
Dear Lotte..ask Wayland to tell you what we really are, also, the piano is yours if you wish to play it. Never loose your musical spirit Lotte, for it is truly a gift unto life.

"He gave me the piano? Oh how fun. Isn't that sweet? I must make a song to him. Should I make a song that's all sad or should it be big and fun and..."

"Lotte," Artisan interjected, before she went any further. "Perhaps you should do the first part of his request, and ask Wayland, then make the song."

Lotte nodded, her mind suddenly too full of the grand song she'd make in tribute to her dear, departed friend.

Turning to exit the hall, Artisans took a last glance back at Lotte, then turned to his small stack of letters, noting the next name, once again, he spoke it aloud

Wayland.
