With Sanctus in the holy month of Davcember the kingdom seemed quite lonely and quiet as Malic looked out upon the streets. With any luck the young ones and elderly evacuated with the women who couldn't fight. Soon the shadow of the Lich Lord and his Minions would be upon the Kingdom of Sanctus and her allies.

The Lord Commander was out of the public eye and not in the same place as Malic as instructed. The Mayor was leading the evacuation. All able bodied men were chopping lumber and importing coal from the germans. It will be a long row to hoe until the weather breaks. The dark clouds were still rolling in from afar as Malic went back into his study at M'real Manor.

Catalana stood on the roof of the the M'real-Skyfire vacation home and watched the flickering of the lanterns in Luna.Malic had asked her to return there and wait for him,something she hated more than anything.

Pulling her cloak around her more she turned and headed back to the teleporter,she had to get her mind off of her fiance before she drove herself insane. After reappearing in the hall,she moved upstairs and into the living room,her eyes falling on the tree as it glistened in the firelight.

Shedding her cloak she moved over and sat infront of the fire,her hands moving to wrap the gifts she had had brought along for when she and Malic were together again.
