A messenger in formal dress delivers a folded document to Spawn
Petition for Dismissal
In the matter before the Court of Sanctus, herein designated as The Trial of Tai Kwan Leap, The defense petitions the said Court and the Prosecution for immediate dismissal of all charges against the defendant, Tai Kwan Leap for the following reasons:
1. The Prosecution has failed to produce any evidence whatsoever that the defendant, Tai Kwan Leap, engaged in any wrong doing or Illegal actions.
2. The Court and its Representatives have failed to act in a timely manner concerning the above mentioned case thereby depriving the Defendant of his rights to a speedy trial and the right to confront his accusers.

Lord Malo,
I have received your letter and regret to inform you that I am not the person who you should be speaking to. I suggest that you take this petition to Lord Malic M'real and discuss this further with him. I do apologize that I cannot help you in this matter. Thank you for your time.
Respectfully,

In fact, as Judge in this case you are the ONLY one that this petition can be presented to. Even though Malic is a Monarch, He chose to try this case in a court of Law. As the complainant and a witness he can not decide this issue.
As the appointed judge, You are the sole representative of the law and your decisions are binding. Your choices are to deny the petition and move on with this case, grant the petition and dismiss this case or to recluse yourself and step down which results in a mistrial. _________________

Lord Malo,
It seems you are very determined in your defense of Lord Tai Kwan Leap and I admire your persistence. In this case, I shall allow you to continue to show your determination. I hereby deny your petition and decide to continue this trial at a future date, most likely within the next week or so. You shall be informed of when the trial is to resume. Thank you for your time.
Respectfully,
