Dear Merri lady of Umbra,
I heard of your attack and the temporary loss of your son. I would to help in anyway, I know someone that may be of service to you and Walter. No doubt Magincia's finest is already helping, but what is one more? When you are ready to recant that day once more, please let me know.

Blessed is the darkness, sister of shadow.

Willow

The Soothsayer charged with biding time with Merrique and protecting her in the absences of her family takes the message, nods, and passes it along to the bedridden woman when she again wakes. Eagerly listening to the words, Merri quickly responds via a wax-sealed note sent along with a well paid messenger dispatched to the barracks.

My dear Warlord,
Thank you for taking the time to contact me. It is indeed good to hear from my Umbran family. I regret that I remember very little except a sudden pain in the back of my head. Things have taken a very odd turn. We should speak as soon as possible. All help solving this would be deeply appreciated. Indeed, I remain
Your sister of shadow.
Merrique
