Not related to factions, but more pub56, I just tested the enchanted apples and grapes of wrath and even though it's not in the notes, they do stack. And for us cooks, they did stack dough and sweet dough, cakes and cookies, but they are seperated in the stacking between exceptional and plain. (So we have only one big stack to throw away when using a food decorator! Yeah!)

Well, now that the patch has come, I'm getting that same message I got the last time they patched:

Am I going to have to uninstall and reinstall UO everytime they patch?!!

The KR client patches ok, but the 2D version does not. This is Soooooo aggravating. And, of course, try to find any help at www.uo.com. I've gone through all their suggestions and defragged my computer, which it really didn't need; even changed it to Compatibility Mode which didn't help (unfortunately I'm stuck with Vista on this computer); I even checked the patch folder and there is nothing in it (that used to work a long time ago). Luckily I have cable modem, so it doesn't take days to reinstall and get the updates, but it is still maddening. Evil or Very Mad

Sorry it took me so long but Viktor and I went over to test center and made two faction guilds one in True Brits and one in Shadow lords we then warred each other and I killed him in trammel, he DID go into stat loss and I even got a kill point for it.

Har'aak is correct, im his witness we just tested the warred factions in tram on test center. you do go into stat loss

Most likely a bug. Report it to Jeremy. Either way, MTC will most likely still remain in factions. With our inherent 15 minute rule with battles, Stat loss only helps enact that. And with stat loss, after a death, someone could actually role-play feeling a bit weaker, and have it be backed up with game mechanics, too.

so true with the time vs time out for battles, but what about just training with others, and tournys? thats were it kinda blows, im not saying MTC leave factions, i want TGC to join factions for this... we were just suggesting the whole RP community joins the same faction to avoid the stat loss/loosing rank when we fight eachother... It would also extend our battle death timer by 5 minutes, not that any of this is a big deal i guess, just think it makes it more community friendly if we are all in the same faction
