Slitherby ( for Ciara had agreed it was a good name for a rat/ snake type) slithered across the floor to the toyshop, and shivered, seeing real rats eyeing him. He slithered over to the main office and wrapped his body around the chairleg, and gave a squeek, waving his rat tale. A tiny note is attached to his neck, with the words Don't kill me or make me into a doll, please on the front.

Lady Shade,

I have a question. I'm working on a project, am need of some advice. If you could meet me at your convenience I'd appreciate it.

Love,
Your favorite apprentice,
Ciara

It was rather disconcerting for slitherby as Mimus darted at him. Tho the spirit bird could do Slitherby no harm it made Shade chuckle all the more to see the birds predatory instincts kick in.

Yet the squawking of the bird, surely got to her, and she finally let out a yell. Mimus leave the creature alone it doesnt know up from down right now...! So the bird dutifully perched weightlessly upon her shoulder and she knelt picking the odd creature up.

Surely a Ciara work of art no doubt. She sat the animal down on a counter that would soon hold a multitude of toys, and peered at hte message it brought.

Mimus escort this creature home, politely mind you, and tell Ciara to give a date and time for our meeting...

She returned to her work, the two creatures leaving, Mimus giving an angry squawk back at shade. A soft smile crossing her lips..

Ciara heard the squeek of distress and turned, seeing the most odd of sights. Slitherby was moving along the grass as fast as his body could move, while the spirit of a mocking bird followed, pecking at his head, though causing the poor mutant no harm. Ciara rushed outside, and picked up the poor snakerat, holding it close. She turned to glare at Mimus's spirit, who gave an echoing squawk.

"Mimus, leave Slitherby alone. He's still upset over losing his legs and is still trying to figure out how to move," Ciara said, giving an admonishing look to the bird. The bird squawked again, and Ciara's eyes widened.

"Oh, time and place. Oops, well go ahead and tell her when," she told Mimus, then watched him fly off, but not before giving Slitherby's head one last ghostly peck.
