Umbrans,

I have recently received written word from Darrien Church, his message a curious one. He wouldn't be the first person I don't trust to speak apologies over the death of the Matriarch, but he seems interested in more.

I would like to meet with you all soon and discuss this, I have already accepted his request to meet.

-Myrddin Ab'Arawn
Patriarch of Umbra

A pale light shown in the room, the torch waning in the morning hour. Darkness and ice soon to fill the cold room. Merci welcomed the return of the frost, tho it was punctuated with sadness as it was Ceinwyns time of year to...

Winters chill had a special bite, tho Umbra was always cold. Merci's fingers found their way to plucking open his message and reading briefly over it noting the seal of the Patriarch.

She paused..

Her eyes scanned over the name Church several times trying to discern that which wasnt there within its contents. So the Ancient Lich rustles in his grave anxious to spread his hand to the new Patriarch.

It is no surprise Church holds no love for me.. Never seen eye to eye have we. Again we highlight the battle that is more dangerous, that which bothers me greater is the battle between darkness vs. darkness.. Where amongst those who hold no feelings or honor have no compunction agaisnt destroying another...

Myrddin,
I shall be there as you wish.
Merci

Malikhia's fingers clenched about the letter as his eyes gazed the last word. The parchment disolved into ashes in his grasp, the dust floating away in the chill Umbran air.

A frown crossed his cheeks. The shrill bite of winter was setting in early this year. His skin swealtered under his will, small waves iiradiating off of him.

The patriarch knows I will be there...

No sense in wasting my and his time with a letter.. I am sure he has plenty else to do.

His eyes closed focussing on the heat surrounding him, as it battled away the crisp winds of Umbra.
