I think Ceinwyn already answered the question, yes as far as i know all the vampire clans use VTM so as you see from her answer you have a few choises for a guild (on the vampire side). once again i invite you to add me on icq so you may get answers more quickly. Id very much like to meet with you and help you pick a guild that best suits you.

So the characters embraced have their sire's clan or choose their own?

I'll work on trying to add you soon to ICQ. I have been kinda in the mood to write so might try and work on that to flesh out a few characters personalities and honestly it seems to flow better to start if I write some stories out about them. (I know, I'm odd that way probably.) Plus, they may end so demented, bloodthirsty and cruel that even the evil guilds are like "Oh heck no!"

Hmm... that leads me to another question. I've written stories in the past that are very... hmmm... mature. Not sex wise, simply bloody and gorey, yummy content and language. What are the rules as far as that goes on this forum? Is it a "no adult language" sort of thing or is it a give a disclaimer first sort of thing so those offended do not read. I can give an example of a past story if needed to clarify what I'm talking about if needed.

The rule is PG-13 content, which gives some leeway for violence and gore. If it's going to be at the edge of that limit, be sure to add a warning to the title. If you need to have the post approved beforehand, feel free to PM me with it and I can review it.

Language wise, some words are on the swear filter, so some words will appear as something else.

Overall though we keep a moderate stance, I don't want to stifle anyones creativity or artistry, since that's what makes the RP-world go 'round.

Hi Masika and welcome, glad to see you might be interested in RPing a Vampire. I can tell you more about the Cappadocians sometime if you like my icq is 436534539.

We are mostly VtM but there are guilds like MOON (Vampires of the Twilight Moon) that are not, we are having a clan gathering coming up soon it will be CAP, MOON and CJ (Chaotic Justice) and we would be more than happy to have you come and sit in if you like.

I know of a few guilds on other shards that use the epic game that is VtM, but I also know of some that use lore from the Anita Blake vamp hunter books. I have often thought of making a vamp chara but two rp charas is about my limit of playing I find that I hate nothing more in switching charas and as for guilds I like to only stay in one, that way it saves me the headache of being conflicted! *grins*

*Laughs* okay never has there been, so many plugs for guilds and offers of help in the history of my days here on the boards.

Sir I dont know who you are, or maam, but you have tickled people with your *I love the darker side* yes yes we all do its what makes our little hearts beat, or in my case not beat.

However all the people who have contacted you here for help are some of the nicest and best people I have met, so do choose what suits you best.

You will be happy for it!

An thank you all once again! Definitely some awesome people here it seems and I'm really looking forward to rping with folks (naughty and nice included). I'm sorry I haven't contacted anyone yet privately, but I will! The "R" word (Real-life) has been kicking my caboose lately and haven't had a chance to get stuff set up.
