ANNOUNCEMENT: Town Hall Canceled!

If you missed the Herald post about this, here it is again! Due to Hurricane Ike making air travel impossible and ground travel decidedly unwise, we've called off the Austin Town Hall that was to take place this weekend. Please, if you're in the area, stay inside (or evacuate!) and be safe.

"Will we be able to convert human/elf armor to gargoyle armor and vice-versa?"

Currently in development is the Human-to-Gargoyle conversion for weapons and armor (cloth, leather, plate etc). Gargoyle-to-Human conversion is still under discussion.

"Why did my Quiver of Rage change color after the patch?"

There's a bug causing the item to "refresh" some of its properties - including color - each time it loads. We should have this bug fixed in Publish 56 - in the meantime, don't bother dying it!

"Are we supposed to be able to use Disarm against shields now?"

No, actually, this is not intended. It's apparently a very old bug - you've been able to disarm shields for a long time, it seems - but the change to disarming spellbooks made it somewhat more obvious. In any case, we've got the bug logged and on our list now.

"If I get multiple Ankhs of Sacrifice, can I resurrect more than once per hour?"

No - the timer is per-character, not per-ankh.

"What's with Pepta?"

Pepta the Royal Tastetester is a new quest giver in the castle in Britain (or in the Cat's Lair pub just south of the West Britain Bank on Siege.) She wasn't in the patch notes because there is a small cosmetic bug in the quest gump and she wasn't supposed to be in this publish, but she snuck in, so you're more than welcome to see what she has to say!

"Will Siege players ever be able to do the Collector's quest?"

Yes! Actually, as of today Draconi made a few fixes that should allow you to get through the quest - no publish needed! The pearls are available to be fished up, and the NPCs you need to talk to should all be there. (The quest we're referring to is the one Elwood McCarrin offers in New Haven.)

What's To Come:

Publish 55 is live, not without some small kinks, but those are mostly worked out. Publish 56 is still being hammered on, but it's looking better and better every day - the event content is almost ready to go!
