Arrives via some manner of song bird, it contains the following information.

Sheriff Bracken,
I am by no means a defendant of the innocent, but recently whilst sitting in your tavern a bold man came in asking about you wear abouts. From what I can gather, he is part of a sell-sword organization known as "The Obsidian Guardians", fronted, or at least containing the membership of one "Tristian Dragonbane", and funded by the Moonglow Town Council, or so he mentioned. The man is an archer, I would recommend checking your corners and wearing head and center-mass protection at all times. I wish you luck, and hope this unconfirmed information may be of some help. This is by no means sympathy dear Bracken, this is a defense of my respect for life, not you. I do wish you luck however.



The letter is noticeably devoid of any signature.
