A falcon flies to Rufus perching itself on a window ledge. It drops a sealed parchment on the windowsll. As Rufus examines it he would note the crest of Sorcafor embedded into the seal of wax. It reads as follows:

Dear Rufus,

I am writing to ye to inform you that Legerion will be taking a leave from his duties. His health has become very poor. It seems he has a heart condition and the stress that his responsibilites of his position puts him a greater risk. He should beable to return after a few weeks. But I ask of you, to please find him an assistant. He was never one to ask for aide, but I, his wife, am asking for him. The burden of what has went on in our family during the last few days along with the burden of his position, has become too much for him. I am sorry if this gives you no true notice of his vacation, had I had more warning I would have given ye fair warning as well.

I am also curious of what ye know about possessions of ones mind and or body. It seems that a friend our daugther believes he is being possessed. She is quite worried about him, and with the current state her father is in now..well tis only places more burden on her troubled heart. Any information or such you could give us would truly be greatly appreciated. If ye wish to meet with us and perhaps ask Earendil more about her friend, you are more than welcome to come by our home anytime. Our doors are always opened to you. Once again I am sory for the tidings of this letter. Take care.

Sincerely,
Cassandra Sorcafor
